Attention Climbers:

On October 14, 2009, MSA, the manufacturer of our autobelay devices issued a stop use notice. On December 4, 2009, MSA announced plans to discontinue manufacturing and servicing the devices. In compliance with the notices, we will permanently remove the autobelay devices from the climbing wall and return them to MSA. 

We are working to find other options to replace the autobelay devices.

We apologize for any inconvenience. For the safety of all of our climbers, Sunset Athletic Club climbing staff will not be available to belay for climbers. We strongly recommend participation in our introductory and belay courses, prior to climbing. Please see Instruction page for more details.

Those are the words we live by at the rock climbing wall at Sunset Athletic Club. We invite you to join us, hone your climbing skills and work on improving your fitness in a relaxed and fun environment. We have open climbing times seven days a week, and we offer a variety of instructional courses and programs that will help climbers of all ages and all abilities reach their goals. With seven top-ropes, lead climbing anchors, and a bouldering cave, we've got everything you need, whether you come with a partner or on your own. We look forward to seeing you soon!
